Tata Motors to Maruti Suzuki Slash Prices After GST 2.0: Cars New Price

As announced by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman earlier this month, the Next-Gen GST reforms, also known as GST 2.0, take effect from September 22, 2025. These reforms have reduced the prices of many cars and motorcycles, as most vehicles previously taxed at 28% now fall under the 18% tax bracket, making entry-level vehicles more affordable.

Two-wheelers above 350cc and larger cars are now classified as luxury goods and taxed at a 40% rate under the new GST reforms. Meanwhile, electric vehicles continue to enjoy a 5% tax bracket.

Today, we present the updated prices of cars and bikes following the implementation of GST 2.0.
