A total of 8,875 vacancies are announced for Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC), covering both graduate and undergraduate levels. These vacancies are for various Zonal Railways and Production Units of Indian Railways.

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) issued a vacancy draft on September 23, 2025, for the NTPC graduate and undergraduate level exams. A total of 8,875 vacancies have been released for both NTPC level exams. Of these, 5,817 vacancies are for the NTPC Graduate Level, while 3,058 are for the NTPC Undergraduate Level exam. The RRB NTPC vacancies cover various posts across different railway zones. As per the RRB NTPC Vacancy 2025 Draft released on September 23, 2025, a total of 5,817 vacancies will be recruited for graduate-level posts. In the previous 2024-25 vacancy, the total NTPC graduate vacancy was 8,113, covering five different posts. In the 2025-26 vacancy, a new post, ‘Traffic Assistant (Metro Railway),’ has been added. For the RRB NTPC Undergraduate (UG) level vacancies for 2025-26, a total of 3,058 vacancies will be released for various posts. Compared to the 2024-25 vacancy count of 3,445, the 2025-26 vacancies reflect a decrease.
